Halloween Special – Take 2

They are definitely back, Alyssa and Grace open up this semesters season of Take 2 with a very spooky Halloween edition of the show. Grace gets us started with a few jokes that could be described as scary (in more ways than one) and the girls tell us that they will be asking students what they’re going to be for Halloween and what their plans are.

The first interview is with Tourek a student from Saudi Arabia who says that for Halloween he will be dressing in his traditional garb, saying that “no one wears what we wear there”. For the night he and his friends will be walking around the city, specifically Times Square wearing his costume and nothing else, that’s it.

For their second interview Alyssa and Grace find fellow Globesvillian Chloe to talk about her Halloween plans. Chloe will be dressing up as Cat Woman from the famed Batman series, she purchased a leather body suit from Forever 21 and cat ears, accompanied by painted whiskers. Chloe knows that this is inappropriate for school but that doesn’t stop Alyssa from trying to persuade her anyway. For the night Chloe says she will be attending a costume part at her local bar.

The girls third interview is a student by the name of Muzzy who says that he is going to be Spiderman and will also be walking about Times Square.

For their last interview, a student who is going to appear as a minion from the Despicable Me franchise, she purchased the costume online. Like many, the student will be in the city hanging around the village downtown.

A very polished, cultural, fun and informative start to the Take 2 season continues in the weeks to come with Alyssa and Grace asking the questions you might want answered.
